Key Stage 2 Tuition includes students at 8 to 10 years of age. The core subjects are Mathematics, English.

What you can expect from the English Studies:

• Group reading tasks to improve confidence in reading comprehensions
• Regular testing of Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar
• Improvement of descriptive and persuasive writing

What you can expect from the Maths Studies:

• Core Maths subjects covered
• Times tables testing & revision
• Continuous practice and memorisation tips

Learning Outcome:

• Students develop greater independence and ability for critical thinking at this stage. They are expected to develop their language to comply with the spoken and written demands of their individual subjects.
• Socially, students are expected to be able to listen to instructions, interact, engage in study discussions with tutors and students and show excellent understanding of the learning materials.

Sessions:

• 1 hour sessions
• 1 hour English
• 1 hour Maths
• Set weekly sessions block booked per month/term
• For 1-2-1 or private group (min 4 students) mutually agreed (between student & tutor) sessions
